Best Part?
Good amenities - my favourite thing about this building is that the gym is stocked with equipment that you typically wouldn't find in a condo gym (e.g. power rack, barbells and plates, multiple cardio machines, a stretching room); it also has a sauna and yoga studio; there is a terrace with barbecues, picnic tables, and a dog walk where dogs can relieve themselves
Professional building management and great people - property management cares about tenants promotes community (annual barbecues in the summer and well-organized holiday parties with a crafts market featuring resident artists and artisans); residents are very community-oriented and help each other out out of their own goodwill (e.g. sharing food, printing pages for each other, watching each other's pets)
Well-located and convenient - it's located 5 mins from Eaton's Centre and Dundas station, from other lovely neighbourhoods like The Village, Cabbagetown
Worst Part?
It's located close to a public health unit and the Bond Hotel which was converted into a shelter during covid. When walking around outside there are unpleasant sights and smells. Not a fault of the building but of the city. The building security responds quite quickly if a trespasser gets in the building or if there are homeless people loitering outside.
Tina lived here 2021-2023
